Entering the round of postseason testing for FIA Formula 2 at Sakhir, Team Trident will field the 21-year-old Dutch racer, who is coming from a convincing year in the FIA Formula 3 Championship.
The FIA Formula 2 Championship will sign off its season with a surely interesting postseason test session to be held from October 8 to 10 on the Grand Prix configuration of Bahrain International Circuit, already home to the two final rounds of the series for 2020. The F2 racecars will remain in Bahrain to so to put teams in the right conditions for trying new solutions in terms of the technical aspect and test new drivers ahead of 2021. Running for one day, 21-year-old Dutchman Bent Viscaal will join the team after impressing in the 2020 FIA Formula 3 Championship. Viscaal, who comes from the town of Albergen, took P13 in the F3 championship, scoring a win at Silverstone, two podiums and a fastest lap. He will be on the track for the first time under the Team Trident banner. The technical staff of the Milan-based team is therefore very happy to work for the first time with a driver with high potential in a day of testing that is expected to be extremely interesting for the team. In addition, he will be good training for the driver from the Netherlands who will drive an FIA Formula 2 Championship car for the first time.
