Trident can look at this weekend’s home race at Monza with confidence

Coming from its best weekend so far this season, Trident can look at this weekend’s home race at Monza with confidence as it approaches the last part of the 2023 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine.
Only seven days ago, all three drivers from the Italian squad managed to get into the points zone with a total score of 27 points. It was a remarkable result to begin the final stint of the season, heading to Monza, Zandvoort, and Hockenheim.
The top finisher in Austria was Nikhil Bohra, who got back to the top-5 after cruising to third place in the inaugural round of the season.
“Being back to the top-5 is great for the team. We put in a lot of work over the summer break to digest the information from the first half of the season, and it seems to have paid off well. The most important thing is now not letting our foot off the gas — we keep pushing and trying to break into the podium places. The team deserves the result and I’m happy that I am able to deliver for them”.
Were you happy after pre-season testing in Monza? What are your expectations for the Trident home race?
“Pre-season testing went fairly well. We have the potential to be in the front once again in Monza. As you know well, I don’t like to set expectations; I will do my best, in any case, and hopefully the pace will be there to do well”.
What is the target for the final three rounds of the season?
“The target for the final three rounds is to close the season off on a high and to learn a lot in the process. I have no experience in Zandvoort and limited experience in Hockenheim. Racing on both these tracks will be an important step for my racing career going forward”. these tracks will be an important step for my racing career going forward”.
