The Trident Team today represents a reality of excellence in the world of Motorsport.
With its cutting-edge technical and organizational structure, Trident is a team that competes in the Formula 2, Formula 3 e Formula Regional Championships, which stands out for its efficiency, vitality and resourcefulness. A young and dynamic team that has always paid great attention to research and development, with a view towards achieving sporting results. The team made its debut in GP2 in 2006, thanks to the passion and entrepreneurial ability of Maurizio Salvadori, a man known in show business for having discovered and managed numerous national and international artists.
The great passion for engines, which has always characterized him, has allowed him to merge his professional skills in the entertainments sector and in the production of major events with the construction of a solid motor racing team. Salvadori was able to bring a vital and energetic team to the circuits, which has become one of the few realities in Motorsport that has the requisites to bring out young talents by following their career in the various category transitions.
Having consolidated its presence in the three different championships with victories, podiums and final winnings, The Trident team has as its objectives: evolution, the improvement of technical and sporting performance and the character growth of the drivers. The driver is allowed to enter a highly qualified environment, made up of specialists in pursuit of sporting success, an element incorporated in Trident’s DNA. The Trident team constantly invests in research projects, a necessary factor to continue to remain at the top and to renew the sporting results achieved in past seasons. The team based in Ossona-Milan, is made up of an extremely competent group of high-level engineers and mechanics who carry out their work in a serene environment and with maximum collaboration.
Simultaneously and in support of the F2, F3 and Formula Regional programs, Trident has developed a technologically advanced and continuously enhanced driving simulator. Until now, this tool is essential in the motor racing world, for both the preparation of the drivers for the knowledge of the tracks and behaviour of the car, and for the specialists in the preparation phases of the individual races.
Trident’s field of expertise also includes image management and communication, being able to count on solid relationships with the national and international media. During the F2, F3 and Formula Regional Championships, drivers, partners and sponsors can count on integrated communication projects implemented by a constantly dedicated internal structure.
As of 2016, the International Federation has adopted a policy aimed at tracing a clear path towards Formula 1 and identifying the F2 and F3 Championships as obligatory passages to be able to reach the top level of F1. Today, all of our F2 and F3 races run simultaneously with the F1 races, during the same weekends and are broadcasted live on the SKY channel 207, the same as F1.
