A classic, treacherous, and fascinating city track

The FIA Formula 3 Championship will face its first back-to-back event of the season next weekend. The fourth race on the calendar, and the second on European soil, is scheduled on the fascinating and treacherous streets of Monaco. Trident Motorsport arrives in the Principality leading the Team standings with a fifty-nine-point advantage over its closest rivals.

The Drivers' standings also see the drivers of the team based in Ossona at the top. Rafael Câmara has collected three pole positions, two victories, and a third place in the Feature Races in the first three outings of the season. With this score, the nineteen-year-old Brazilian from the Ferrari Driver Academy firmly maintains his lead in the standings, twenty-one points ahead of his teammate Noah Strømsted.

The seventeen-year-old Dane, a Mercedes Junior Driver, stood out in the last Imola event by taking second place in the longer Feature Race. Likewise, Charlie Wurz demonstrated on the hilly Romagna track to have a good pace and an excellent vision of the race, as well as great skills in body-to-body duels. Those characteristics will allow the son of art to grow further in the rest of the season.

Giacomo Ricci, Team Manager: “The Monaco street circuit has unique characteristics. It is a track that takes no prisoners, the slightest mistake is paid dearly. The difficulties in overtaking make qualifying very important. We arrive at the fourth seasonal event with a good ranking, our goal is to have another competitive weekend with the three drivers”.

The engines of the FIA Formula 3 Championship single-seaters will start on Thursday at 13:10, when the 45-minute free practice session is scheduled. Qualifying, divided into two groups, is scheduled for Friday at 11:05. The Sprint Race will be on Saturday at 10:45. The Feature Race, which will conclude the weekend, will start on Sunday at 8:00. The track activity will be broadcast in full on Sky F1.
