Monza, now the goal is the teams' title

The tenth and final round of the FIA Formula 3 Championship season will take place next weekend at the Monza circuit. After nine intense rounds, Trident Motorsport driver Rafael Câmara has been crowned champion of the series in Budapest.
With a Sprint Race and a Feature Race still to run, attention is now focused solely on the fight for the Teams' title. Trident Motorsport has everything it takes to achieve this goal as well. With 66 potential points still up for grabs, the Ossona-based team holds a 19-point advantage over its closest rival. Rafael Câmara, Noah Strømsted, and Charlie Wurz will put all their efforts into helping Trident Motorsport repeat the feat they accomplished in 2021.
Given the track's unique characteristics, Monza requires a specific approach. The Temple of Speed, with its long straights punctuated by sharp braking sections, allows for overtaking maneuvers, but at the same time, it's easy for drivers benefit from slipstreaming. A strong qualifying performance will therefore be crucial.
In addition to Rafael Câmara, the new FIA Formula 3 Championship champion, Charlie Wurzalso arrives in Monza at a favorable time. The son of former F.1 star Alex, he took a podium in the Sprint Race and fourth place in the Feature Race at the last round in Spa-Francorchamps. Meanwhile, Noah Strømsted, after not achieving as much as expected on the Ardennes circuit, will be looking to bounce back in the final round of the season.
Giacomo Ricci, Team Manager: "We're approaching the final round of the season with full concentration and the goal of giving 100% on track to secure the Teams' title in front of our home crowd. We know it won't be easy and will require maximum commitment, considering the quality of our rivals. A very demanding weekend awaits us, but we want to end the season with another competitive performance."
The engines of the FIA Formula 3 Championship cars will start on Friday at 9:35 a.m., with the 45-minute free practice session scheduled. Qualifying is scheduled for the same day at 3:00 p.m., with the cars divided into two groups. The Sprint Race will take place on Saturday at 9:15 a.m. The Feature Race, which will conclude the FIA Formula 3 Championship season, will start on Sunday at 8:15 a.m. All track action will be broadcast live on Sky Sport F1.
