Silverstone, good points in the sprint race

The FIA Formula 3 Championship returned to the iconic Silverstone circuit, home this weekend to the seventh round of the 2025 season. In an extremely tight qualifying session, the Trident Motorsport drivers stood out. The fastest was Rafael Câmara, who set the third-fastest time, while Charlie Wurz took sixth place and Noah Strømsted was fifteenth.
Thanks to the inversion of the best twelve positions on the starting grid of the Sprint Race, Wurz started from seventh place, championship leader Câmara from tenth place, and Strømsted from fourteenth. When the lights went off, all the Trident Racing drivers had a regular start and stayed away from the numerous collisions that animated the early stages of the race.
Wurz, due to a slight mistake, slipped back and found himself battling with his teammates. The restart of the race, which took place on the fourth lap after the intervention of the safety car to remove a car stopped in the escape route, saw Câmara immediately combative. The driver from Recife made some good overtaking moves and finished in eighth position ahead of his teammate Wurz. Strømsted slipped to fourteenth position due to degradation problems with the front tyres.
The three points earned thanks to the eighth position allow Rafael Câmara to increase his advantage in the championship standings, which is now twenty-seven points over his closest rival. In the Team standings, Trident Motorsport leads with a nineteen-point advantage.
Giacomo Ricci, Team Manager: “We are quite happy with today’s result, also because Rafael Câmara’s direct rivals in the title fight did not score any points. Rafael rode a good comeback race and made some nice overtaking moves, finishing eighth. Charlie Wurz got stuck at the start of the race and found himself chasing, but still managed to take ninth place. Strømsted’s race was a bit more uphill because the Danish driver had problems with front tyre degradation that prevented him from finishing in the top ten”.
