To Imola to confirm the good moment of form

The long break is over. The FIA Formula 3 Championship will be contesting next weekend, in Italy, the first European round of the season. After a five-week break, the third race of the series is scheduled on the Imola track. Trident Motorsport emerged from the second round, which took place in Sakhir, with the leadership in both rankings.
The Driver standings see Trident Motorsport’s Rafael Câmara firmly in command. The nineteen-year-old Brazilian has collected two pole positions in the first two seasonal outings and as many victories in the Feature Races, which give him an advantage of twenty-six points over his closest rival. Furthermore, Câmara knows the Imola track very well, having achieved a success there both in Formula 4, in 2022, and in Formula Regional last year.
Positive feedback also came from Noha Strømsted. After finishing second in the Feature Race in Melbourne, the seventeen-year-old Dane scored points in the two races in Bahrain, maintaining third place in the championship standings. Regular and consistent, Charlie Wurz stood out in the first part of the championship, scoring ten points and showing good potential that should materialize in the rest of the season.
In the Team standings, Trident Motorsport leads with more than double the points of its closest rival.
Giacomo Ricci, Team Manager: “We are coming to Imola in a good position, but the top spot in both rankings will not give us any advantage. We will have to put one hundred percent of our energy into the field and be perfect in our execution to further raise the bar and be competitive on the Romagna track. Imola is a track on which we have a good tradition, but with the new single-seaters this year we will start from scratch. It will be a very demanding and intense weekend, we really want to do well in front of our fans!”.
The engines of the FIA Formula 3 Championship single-seaters will start on Friday at 9:55, when the 45-minute free practice session is scheduled. Qualifying is scheduled for the same day, at 15:05.
On Saturday it will be the turn of the Sprint Race, at 10:05. The Feature Race, which will conclude the weekend, will start on Sunday at 8:30. The activity on the track will be broadcast live on Sky F.1.
