Trident at Mugello for the final round of F4 Italy
The 2026 Formula 4 season is coming to an end. The venue for the seventh and final round of the Italian series, scheduled for this weekend, is once again the Mugello circuit, which had already opened its gates at the end of July for the fourth round of the championship.
Trident Motorsport is competing with six single-seaters entrusted to Bernardo Bernoldi, Florentin Hattemer, Lucas Pasquinetti, Dominik Simek, Yibei Sun and Augustus Toniolo. Over the course of the season, the performances of the team led by Luca Zerbini, which, we recall, was making its absolute debut in the category, have improved significantly, allowing Hattemer and Toniolo to reach the top 20 in the overall standings.
These results are complemented by the excellent achievements secured in the E4 Championship series, culminating in the second place claimed by Toniolo in Race 3 at Monza and the pole position secured by the Brazilian driver in the second qualifying session.
At Mugello, the drivers will be divided into the usual three groups, with as many as 49 entries. The first race is scheduled for Saturday at 10.05 (groups B-C), followed by the second race at 14.40 (groups A-B). On Sunday 1 November, Race 3 will start at 8.40 (groups A-C), while the Final will take place at 12.15.
