Trident at Paul Ricard to consolidate its lead

It's been a very hot summer for the Trident team in the Formula Regional European by Alpine. After a positive weekend at the Hungaroring, Maurizio Salvadori's team is looking optimistically to the fifth round of the season. On Saturday, July 19th and Sunday, July 20th, the series will compete at the Circuit Paul Ricard near Le Castellet, not far from Marseille, and Trident will have to defend the top spot in the drivers' standings, held by Matteo De Palo.
The 17-year-old Roman is enjoying a very positive season, having scored two wins and a total of five podiums in eight races. De Palo, along with only one other driver, holds a small record: in all the races he has participated in so far, he has finished in the points. He now leads with 122 points, four more than Freddie Slater and 32 more than Enzo Deligny, respectively second and third in the overall standings.
The Paul Ricard round will also be an opportunity for Nandhavud Bhirombhakdi to follow up on his strong performance at the Hungaroring, where he scored points, just as it will be important for Ruiqi Liu to break the ice in his attempt to reach the coveted top 10.
