Trident at Silverstone to strengthen leadership

In a calendar that gives no respite, the FIA Formula 3 Championship is back at Silverstone this weekend. After the green Spielberg, the series is expected in the English countryside, in Northamptonshire. Trident Motorsport gets to the seventh round of the championship firmly in command of both the Teams and Drivers standings.
Rafael Câmara, despite having a complicated weekend in Austria, confirmed his lead in the Drivers’ standings with a 24-point advantage over the first of his rivals. The twenty-year-old Brazilian managed at the Red Bull Ring to capitalize on every opportunity, obtaining fifth place in the Feature Race as the best result of the weekend.
Among the protagonists in Styria, Charlie Wurz must certainly be counted with. The son of art was as fast as he was unlucky in his home track. Forced to retire after being hit by an opponent in the Sprint Race, Wurz then made up for it in the Sunday race by taking sixth place. In the Feature Race, the Austrian preceded his teammate Noah Strømsted who finished seventh. The seventeen-year-old Dane thus made up for a first race conditioned by a contact at the start in which he damaged a wing.
Giacomo Ricci, Team Manager: “Our goal at Silverstone, where we have a good record, is to return to being competitive with all three of our cars and strengthen our leadership in both rankings. We will need a perfect weekend, with maximum commitment, determination and concentration”.
The engines of the FIA Formula 3 Championship cars will start on Friday at 8:45, when the 45-minute free practice session is scheduled. Qualifying is scheduled for the same day at 14:00. The Sprint Race will be on Saturday, at 9:15. The Feature Race, which will conclude the weekend, will start on Sunday at 9:30. The on-track activity will be broadcast live on Sky Sport F.1.
