Trident concludes the UAE4 Series in Qatar
The UAE4 Series came to a close at the Lusail circuit in Qatar, after marking the debut of Trident Motorsport in the Formula 4 category, open to young drivers coming from karting. For Maurizio Salvadori's team, it was a valuable first experience, competing in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Qatar. The team participated in four events (two in Abu Dhabi) with three cars for Bernardo Bernoldi, Florentin Hattemer, and Dominik Simek.
At Losail, the three drivers supervised by team manager Luca Zerbini climbed another step in their way to the top 10. Simek finished Race 2 in an excellent 12th place (out of 38 entrants), taking a 13th in Race 1 (from 24th on the grid), and a 14th in Race 3, again starting from the 12th row.
Bernoldi also made notable progress, finishing 14th in the first race and then 17th twice. Hattemer, on the other hand, achieved his best result in Race 3, 16th, having finished 20th in the previous two races.
With the UAE4 Series concluded, the Trident Formula 4 team is now focusing on a busy testing schedule ahead of its participation in the Italian Championship, which kicks off the weekend of May 10th at the Misano.
