Trident had a positive start at Hockenheim

Trident had a positive start at Hockenheim, home to the final round of the 2023 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine. The first race on German soil saw the Italian squad, led by Maurizio Salvadori, get two point finishes to increase its score in the Team Championship.
After a complicated qualifying session, Nikhil Bohra delivered an impressive comeback from the bottom half of the starting grid. He finally managed to cross the finish line in P8.
Bilinski also put together a brilliant start and constantly fought inside the top 10. The Pole was able to harvest a valuable point, despite a heated last-lap challenge.
Owen Tangavelou was not lucky. The Frenchman gained positions lap after lap, but contact with another competitor forced him to retire.
Nikhil Bohra: “We didn't have a good qualifying this morning, but we managed to recover from 19th place to eighth. I am very happy with the result because we gave everything we had. We will start from P6 on the grid. We hope to have another good race and end the season in the best possible way."
Roman Bilinski: “Today's one was a difficult race. At the start, I climbed from P12 to P9, but in the final stages, I lost a few positions and only managed one point. It's a bit of a shame because we deserved much more. I apologize to the team, and now we look forward to tomorrow when I will start ninth on the starting grid.”
Owen Tangavelou: “I didn't have a great start, but I managed to recover several spots and climb to P14. After that, maybe due to too much optimism, I tried to make another overtake under braking, but it didn't go well. Unfortunately, I damaged the car and didn't finish the race, but the pace was good, and I could have had the chance to reach the top 12.”
