Trident in the FIA Formula Regional Macau GP with Bansal and Kucharczyk
Trident Motorsport announces that Ary Bansal and Tymek Kucharczyk will be the two drivers competing in the 73rd Macau Grand Prix, taking place from November 19th to 22nd.
The 16-year-old Indian driver recently completed the Regional European Championship team tests with Trident, and this year he has performed very well in the Italian F4 championship, achieving two wins to date and several points finishes, which place him third in the provisional overall standings. Bansal also finished sixth in the E4 championship, with one win to his name. In 2025, Bansal won the GB4 Championship and the Challenge Cup in British F4, before finishing fifth in the Formula 4 race in Macau.
Kucharczyk, a 20-year-old Polish driver, successfully competed in the American Indy NXT championship in 2025, finishing third and taking two wins. He also won the Euroformula Open series in 2025, with six wins to his credit, and previously excelled in the British GB3 championship, finishing third in 2024. This will be Kucharczyk's second experience with the Regional on the Macau street circuit.

Tymek Kucharczyk:“I’m really excited to be returning to Macau for the FIA FR World Cup. It’s an incredibly tricky and challenging street circuit, but also one of my favourite tracks in the world, so I can’t wait to hit the streets again. After a full season in INDY NXT, I feel I’ve gained a lot of valuable experience on street circuits, and I’m looking forward to putting that to good use. With a proven and successful team like Trident behind me, I believe we have the potential to fight at the front and aim for a strong result.”
