Trident makes successful F4 debut at Yas Marina

Trident's first-ever weekend in Formula 4 was an important step for Maurizio Salvadori's team, which began this new adventure with the first round of the UAE4 Series at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.

Three cars were fielded for Bernardo Bernoldi, Florentin Hattemer and Dominik Simek, all new to the category. With 38 drivers entered and the need to learn the circuit, Hattemer posted an excellent 14th place in qualifying. In Race 1, he unfortunately stalled at the start, finishing 25th. The Swiss driver finished 20th in Race 2 and an excellent 13th in Race 3. Both Simek, 16th in Race 3, and Bernoldi improved throughout the weekend, with the young Brazilian showing promising signs for the upcoming events.
