Trident ready for first FRECA round of 2023 at Imola

With pre-season testing over, the Italian squad, led by Maurizio Salvadori, is ready for the first race weekend of the season at the famous racetrack, located on the banks of the Santerno River.
After winning the rookie title and finishing fifth in the team classification last year, Trident is ready to return to action for a new season in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine.
The Ossona-based team already had six days of pre-season testing with drivers Roman Bilinski, Owen Tangavelou and Nikhil Bohra, who have shown really promising potential.
The Anglo-Polish driver will be in his second season with Trident in FRECA. He will be joined by Owen Tangavelou, also returning to the series, and by rookie Nikhil Bohra, stepping up from Formula 4.
The first round of the championship, scheduled for April 21-23 at Imola, has two 50-minute collective test sessions scheduled on Friday. Saturday and Sunday will feature one qualifying session and one race each. Qualifying will be 15 minutes long, while the races will be run on a 30-minute plus one lap distance.
