Trident retains Bilinski for 2024 Freca

Trident Motorsport and Roman Bilinski will team up for the third consecutive time in the 2024 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine. The confirmation for the 19-year-old racer, a Brit of Polish heritage, is a testament to the outstanding relationship established between him and the Italian squad, led by Maurizio Salvadori. Driving for Trident, Bilinski achieved a podium finish in race 1 at Budapest in 2022, while this year, he delivered multiple points finishes and qualifying results.

Roman Bilinski: “I’m very excited to be staying with Trident for the 2024 season. It’s a great opportunity for both of us, and I think a lot of success can come from it. We’ve been very strong in testing, so now let’s just put it together, and hopefully, we will be able to perform well throughout the season."

Maurizio Salvadori: "In the last couple of seasons, we saw Roman progress as a driver and a person, and therefore I'm delighted to have him with us again. First of all, because we think he is an extremely fast driver, but also because of the particularly tight bond between him and the whole team. The winter tests we just completed with Roman provided another chance to share the work on track, and the results enable us to look at the coming season with great optimism."
