Trident scores points in Imola Race 2 with De Palo and Liu

Trident Motorsport's Imola weekend in the Formula Regional European by Alpine championship concluded with a solid fourth place in Race 2. Matteo De Palo's strong finish allows him to firmly remain in second place in the Drivers’ standings, 16 points behind leader Freddie Slater, while Ruiqi Liu scored his first points of the season. 

After a strong Qualifying 2 that saw him fourth in Group B and seventh overall, the Chinese driver finished ninth in the race, his best result of 2025, ahead of the summer break. The championship takes a month off to return to action at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg on the weekend of September 7th. Unfortunately, Nandhavud Bhirombhakdi today couldn’t fully express the team's recognized potential in Qualifying 2 and Race 2.
