Trident scores points in the Middle East Regional Championship finale

Trident Motorsport’s first campaign in the Middle East Regional Championship has come to a close. It was a positive maiden one, as in all four events—two in Abu Dhabi, one in Dubai, and one in Qatar—the Italian team’s Tatuus cars consistently finished in the points.

In the final round at the Losail Circuit in Qatar, Trident secured a 9th-place finish in Race 1 with Maksimilian Popov, seventh in the final overall standings. Popov then finished 12th in Race 2 after being involved in numerous midfield battles. It was a more challenging weekend for Andrija Kostić and Kai Daryanani, who twice had to recover from difficult qualifying sessions, showing determination and strong comebacks in the races. 

With the Middle East Regional series concluded, Trident is now focusing on the European Regional with pre-season testing and the first event scheduled for the weekend of April 26th in Spielberg.
