Trident to Imola for the penultimate round of the FREC

It's been a busy weekend for the Trident team. With the 265 kilometers separating the Monza and theImolacircuits, Maurizio Salvadori's team is putting all its energy into the action. The Formula 2 and Formula 3 teams are competing in Lombardy, while the teams competing in the Regional European Championship and the Italian Formula 4 Championship are in Romagna.

The FREC championship has reached its penultimate round of the season, the seventh of eight scheduled on the calendar. Trident must defend sixth place in the Teams’ standings at Imola, and will do so with its drivers Kai Daryanani, Andrija Kostić, and Maximilian Popov. The latter will go for tenth place in the overall standings, where he is currently 12th, and will have three races to do so t the track entitled to Enzo and Dino Ferrari. The recent rounds in Budapest and Le Castellet were challenging for Trident, but ‘friendly’Imolahas always been favorable.Daryanani has a chance to score new points, while Kostić will have the opportunity to attempt to secure his first top 10 finish of 2026.
