Trident will field Paul Aron in the 2023 F2 Championship final at Yas Marina
Trident Motorsport is proud to announce that 19-year-old Estonian Paul Aron will be part of its line-up for the final round of the FIA Formula 2 Championship at Yas Marina in the United Arab Emirates. The Tallinn native will be making his first start in the series. This season, Aron claimed positive results in the FIA Formula 3 Championship, with third place in the Driver Championship, one win, four podiums, and two fastest laps.
Aron will replace Frenchman Clément Novalak, who has been part of the Trident family for a long time. The team wishes him the best for the prosecution of his career. Trident will provide Aron, who will line up alongside Roman Staněk, with the maximum support needed to make sure that he will quickly find good confidence with a car from the upper category and showcase his value.
Giacomo Ricci, Team Manager: “It's with great pleasure that we announce that Paul Aron will make his debut under the Trident Motorsport banner in the FIA Formula 2 Championship next weekend in Abu Dhabi. The team will make its best effort to help him gain confidence in the new category, as this will certainly be an important step for his career. We can't wait to start working with Paul, who will replace Clément Novalak. As he has long been part of the Trident Motorsport family, we wish the Frenchman the best for his future endeavors."
