Trident's off to Misano this weekend

The 2025 Formula Regional European by Alpine championship kicks off this weekend at the Misano Adriatico circuit. Trident Motorsport, present in the category since 2022, is fielding three Tatuus single-seaters for the confirmed Ruiqi Liu and new recruits Matteo De Palo and Nandhavud Bhirombhakdi.

All three drivers of Maurizio Salvadori's team, led on track by Luca Zerbini, have already contested a season in the European Regional and come to Misano with a good amount of experience. In the pre-championship tests in Barcelona, Misano and Le Castellet, Trident was always among the front-runners  with Bhirombhakdi, De Palo and Liu, proving that the drivers and the team have worked well.

The Misano weekend will begin on Friday 2 May with two free practice sessions, each lasting 50 minutes. Qualifying 1 will take place early on Saturday morning (at 8:30) followed by the first race scheduled for 16:10. Qualifying 2 will take place on Sunday morning, at the same time as Saturday, and the second race will start at 5.35 pm.
